I have not visited historic Philadelphia, the birthplace of America, since I used to be a child however this time I introduced alongside my youngest niece. For those who love American historical past, this can be a must-do journey. One of many nice issues about visiting historic Philadelphia is that the entire primary points of interest are inside simple strolling distance of one another. We visited Independence Corridor (my favourite as a result of the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Structure had been signed right here), the Liberty Bell, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave in Christ Church Burial Floor, the Philadelphia Mint (my niece’s favourite as a result of you’ll be able to see the cash being minted), the President’s Home (America’s first White Home), the Nationwide Structure Heart (the place unique copies of the U.S. Structure and Invoice of Rights are held), the Betsy Ross Home (the place seamstress Betsy Ross allegedly sewed the primary American flag), and extra!

10:47 No it’s not silenced forever, the city of Philadelphia has an annual bell ringing every 4th of July where descendants of the founders place their hands on the bell and it rings 13 times 🔔
Great job!
6:14 the arches remain opened so the public can sit and watch justice served.
So much different than now.. sickening what this bureaucracy is doing
Home sweet home 🏠😢
Martin Luther King and Mandela are socialists. Lincoln was not a constitutionalist. Lincoln was far expanding the power of the central government. He was the great centralizer. The real debate was between nationalism and federalism. Both the New Jersey Plan and the Virginia plan had a negative on state laws. This was rejected by the quiet delegates in the constitution. They created a union of states or a federation. The United States is a Federal Republic. The park ranger needs to read more primary documents.
I want to be there early Nov. 2025 for the Marine Corps birthday and visit other historical sites of our country and freemasonry
Uncle pervert
don't let the radical democrat snowflake voters in that place, they will tear all the statues down
Hello from Kansas 🇺🇸
So many stupid videos about what to see in Philadelphia always forget to mention that Franklin is buried At 5th and arch and is accessible 24 hours A-day 7 days a week.Thank you much appreciated.
Silly speaker at 2:32 ,"No Air Conditioner" , of course, this was 1786.
Been thinking about taking a road trip along the east coast from Chicago to Miami, definitely going to all the places you suggested
Little respect, the birthplace of America is the one and only Boston
Hi.. nice video
At 2:25 in the middle at top of the chair is the egyptian sun symbol signifying the pharoahnic continuation of bloodline through freemasonry.
I am making a history doc. I was wondering if I can use some of the visuals. I will credit you of course. Thank you so much!
12:22: I always more interested in history than popular culture as a kid. Still the caste to this day.
0:57: Also the site of the equally important constitutional convention.
I am sure one day your niece will 😊 You’re a wonderful uncle. I treasure the memories of mine.
Thank you for the video. Excited to visit Philly next week.
You did the right thing! She'll appreciate it later!

hi . can u help me
We are doing spring break in Philly coming up in April. I have kids aged 8, 10, 10 and am nervous this historical stuff, which I love, will be not be received well. So the shots of your niece were valuable. She was bored for much as expected but was smiling walking among the statues at the Nat Constitution Center. So the NCC moved up the priority list. This has tempered my expectations and reminded me about traveling with kids – keep 'em feed and don't do too much. We will spread out what you did over a few days. Thx
Really helpful video. I'll only have 1 1/2 days in Philadelphia myself. Was this in October? The weather seemed great.
Ben Franklin was just the first to suggest dat light savings time, but it wasn't actually implemented until awhile after his death
theres 4 musems in philadelphia
i really want to go now
Very good video! I love it! I'm actually going to Philadelphia in two weeks. Are there any other places you would recommend to visit? It's my first time going there and very excited!
IVE BEEN THERE OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I LOVE YOUUU
Did you notice that on each side of the lane leading to Carpenter's Hall were two museums. There were museums to the US Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. Dolly Madison's home is within walking distance as well as Franklin Square – the site of Franklin's home and bookbinding business. Christ's Church is a little further down the road. The 2nd National Bank houses a national portrait gallery containing images of the Founding Father''s. The Maritime Museum was in the general vicinity of Carpenter's Hall but has been moved to the Waterfront.
Thanks Andy! Heading to Philly this June w/my 17 year old son. We are staying in the Old City and look forward to the sites you showed on your presentation.
